Essay Contests

- Essay contests for students

These annual contests are organized to encourage students and teachers to make good use of the library books provided under the ARSL projects. The theme of the contests is "learning to solve problems". Teachers guide students in identifying a problem that may arise in their studies or in their daily life, analyzing it, and undertaking research to find solutions or explanations. The process encourages students and teachers to observe, to question, to think, and to find creative solutions to problems. ESS has sponsored the annual contests since 1996. It works with local representatives to evaluate the submissions, select the winners, and publish an annual collection of the outstanding essays.
