Provision of Education Equipment and Facilities

From time to time ESS has responded to miscellaneous requests for support from schools to meet certain urgent needs.  These efforts have included the provision of student beds for boarding facilities, classroom desks, chairs and tables, science laboratory equipment, VCDs for teachers training, audiovisual equipment for teaching and training purposes, school broadcasting systems, etc.  A number of projects were targeted towards some of the most impoverished rural counties in China, where ESS assistance has helped to ensure that the schools have the basic facilities and equipment necessary for teaching and learning.
